Last month I participated in a challenge to improve my blog (more on that later this week), but the best part was finding some really great blogging buddies. Although I participated in the beginner’s group I was amazed at the caliber of women I met.

Here are 12 bloggers you should know. Check them out now so one day you can say, “I knew them before they were famous!”

Kara at Everyday in Stilettos
I am so jealous of Kara’s shoe collection! If you like fashion, shoes, and DIY fun you should check her out. That and she’s really fun! She’s even learning to sew and sharing her projects with us. It was Kara that inspired the February 30 for 30 challenge although she was much more stylish.

Kristin at 30-Something and Fabulous
Who doesn’t want to live a fabulous life? Well, Kristin is helping us do just that by sharing her stories on her blog. She encourages you to know who you are, to adore your fabulous self, and be willing to do what it takes to make you life better tomorrow than it was today. She even shares that while she doesn’t like Oprah, she did learn some great lessons from her.

Megan at Made with True Love
Although Megan did not participate in the blog challenge, she is one of my best friends in real life with an amazing blog and creative talents. It just would not be right not to include her on this list. Her blog helps parents and soon-to-be parents document their baby’s growth in creative ways. Check out her super cute videos and amazing photography. It also helps that her family is adorable!

Brie at Recipe for a Beautiful Life
Brie does a great job of documenting her life in a way that makes you feel like you’ve known her for a long time. She’s a military wife and self-claimed gym rat, wannabe fashionista, wino and food lover. She also had a beautiful wedding (with pictures to prove it) and loves to paint her nails.

Jocelyn at Scooter Marie
Jocelyn and I were meant to be friends. She has such a fun, fierce spirit and I enjoying hearing about her adventures with her family, raising her beautiful daughter and love of things like good beer. And since her sisters live in Colorado, I’m hopeful we will get to meet in real life someday.

Betsy at Romance on a Dime
Looking for creative ways to live a full life on a budget? Then you should check out Betsy’s blog. It started as a way to share her wedding planning on a budget and now includes ways to save on groceries, frugal menu planning, organizing your home, and a fun weekly link party.

Angie at The Kids are Alright
Angie has an amazing spirit – just enough spice mixed with nice. Her blog shares the stories of her family, travels, diy fun and all the interesting stuff in between. I am jealous of her closet too! She can put together a lean, mean, and stylish weekend get-away wardrobe.

Suzanne at The Wine{a}be
Suzanne blogs about her adventures in southern California wine country. She shares her favorite wines, unique pairing ideas and her love of roosters. Careful, she will try to convince you to join her in the quest to find large metal roosters to sneak into your home; causing you to laugh hysterically and wonder why you don’t have one.

Megan at Splendid Design
Megan is an interior designer who came to the United States when she was 15. She has and amazing eye and I was immediately drawn to her taste. Do yourself a favor and follow her on Pinterest too. You will not be disappointed with the beautiful eye candy she shares.

Angela at Home Cooked Healthy
Angela started blogging because her husband was diagnosed with cancer. His health sent them searching for alternative treatments that centered around healthy nutrition. Along the way they also discovered how to be healthy on a budget.

Pamela at Still Dating My Spouse
Looking for a way to reconnect with your spouse? Then Pamela is your girl. She and her husband have been married for over 13 years and are more in love than ever. She attributes their connection by continuing to “date each other” and keeping the spark alive. Check out some of her date night ideas to get inspired.

Rachel at The Ongoing Planner
Rachel is a newlywed and does a great job of sharing her life, goals and dreams with her readers. She says she is a notorious planner and organizer and proves it by sharing those plans with us, like her upcoming trip to Italy. I wish I could fit in her suitcase!

I’m a firm believer we can never have too many friends. Who are some of your favorite bloggers that I should know? Leave me a comment to let me know so I can introduce myself.
